Your Personal Helicopter

1 August 2008

The Vertipod is a vertical flying machine invented by Pete Bitar, a man famous for his Pentagon Issued research & development projects.

This futuristic contraption allows the user to hover vertically and move horizontally by shifting his or her weight.

The Vertipod resembles an inverted, one-man helicopter with a propeller at its base and is capable of flying 5 to 15 feet above ground at up to 40 mph.

Its the simple flight control systems that may spark a revolution in personal transportation. The device is likely to be available at the cost of about US$ 10,000 (Rs. 4 lakhs) this year.
