Nokia today unveiled the Nokia N97, possibly the world’s most advanced mobile computer, which it claims will transform the way you connect to the Internet and with others.

The N97 has a cool kick-out full QWERTY keyboard, hidden behind a 3.5-inch widescreen 16:9 touch display that tilts smartly above the keys.

With 32GB of on-board storage and an additional 16GB via microSD, the phone becomes an incredible portable multi-media computer.

The N97 is also location-savvy, automatically sensing where it is at any given time via A-GPS. The benefit being that you’ll be able to tap into local services with ease and share your social location with friends minus any extra fiddling or fuss.

And then there are ’standard’ features like 5 megapixel camera, dual LED flash, GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Scheduled for a 2009 launch – the N97 is expected to cost upwards of Rs.35000.
