The future doesn’t seem to be too bright for the IT industry in India.
According to Forbes, despite riding a wave right now, we never learnt to develop products but contined to be ’slave labor’.
And with rising salaries in this sector we’ve already lost the huge wage-difference we enjoyed with the west.
“India, for all its glory, is still the world’s back office. India’s tech industry is a “services” industry. The Indians don’t do the thinking. The customers do. India executes.”
Apparently we have about 7 years to get things in order or we’re back to the pre-IT days.
