How to break down a door
Whether its when you need to rescue your girlfriend who’s trapped inside a building set on fire by terrorists or after you just got locked out by mistake – there are times in a man’s life when he needs to get in the hard way.

And if you really do need to break down a door make sure you’ve got these pointers in mind:

  • Do not follow all those Bollywood movies where a shove with the shoulders tears apart any door. This move is most likely to have the desired effects – but only on your body.
  • Always use your heel to kick strongly and sharply into the door.
  • Aim right next to where the lever, latch or lock are embedded in the door. About one to two inches towards the side depending on the kind of mechanism that exist.
  • Keep striking with the same motion and force and the door will most likely give in.
  • Do not attempt jumping or flying kicks into the door since that, while makeing you look heroic, takes away a whole lot of accuracy and strength.
