Researchers looking into older human brains at UCLA are claiming that Googling might stimulate them more than reading a book.
Two groups of people were used in the study – one that were regular internet users and reasonably tech-savvy, and another that wasn’t. All those in the study had MRI scans while they were surfing the internet and reading books.
The study claims that brain activity doubled in those areas that were linked to decision making and reasoning in the Googlers as compared with the tech-shy readers.
Before resuming searching for porn in the hope of also turning smarter - remember that the study was effective only on adults over the age of 50.

most of these so called studies in teh west are done on less than 100 sample size - mostly because they dont have people there!!!!! and therefore shouldnt be taken too seriously
