Lakshmi Menon is an absolute Goddess making waves in the fashion scene across the world.
Apart from all the brands she’s worked with in India the 5 feet 10 inch tall model has now gone international. Over the last few months alone she’s modelled with Stella McCartney, has become the sole face of Hermes and has been signed up with Ford Models.
Born in Bangalore she describes herself as simple, shy and an introvert and admits she’s in it for the “great money” and nothing more.
“I was never cut out to be a model,” she says very matter-of-factly. “I wasn’t even aware that something like modelling existed. I just saw models’ pictures in magazines and never gave it a second thought… ”
