
It’s not just the inefficient Sports Associations and a corrupt & uncaring Government that are a cause for our hopeless performance at the Olympics. It’s also about the kind of food we eat.
According to The NY Post swimming senation Michael Phelps, who’s won almost as many Gold medals in the last week as all of India managed in over fifty years, has a staggering 12,000 calories in his food every day!
Here’s what a typical meal looks like:
BREAKFAST:
3 fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise
2 cups of coffee
1 five-egg omelet
1 bowl of grits
3 slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar
3 chocolate-chip pancakes
LUNCH:
1 pound of enriched pasta
2 large ham and cheese sandwiches slathered with mayo on white bread
1,000 calories worth of energy drinks
DINNER:
1 pound of pasta
1 pizza
1,000 calories worth of energy drinks
Phelps is now working to equal Mark Spitz’s record of seven gold medals won at the 1972 Munich Games.
